Update on my life

Hello everyone! It has been a while since I last posted my last blog, but I've taken a week for myself to figure out what I am doing with my life at the moment. This week there's no school due to the Thanksgiving holiday, which means that there are only two more full weeks of school left until finals week!

This means that my final semester of actual classes is coming to an end, and all I have to do to graduate is my remote internship which I already have lined up. But the sudden realization that I'm finally done with the school has been a slow burn for me.

I have to figure out what I have to do for the rest of my life now!

This week I started my job at the courts as a courthouse teacher again, which is pretty nice because I have a lot of downtime while I wait for children to come in for mediation or to wait for their parents in court. This is my second day back, and I haven't seen a single child.

This is my time to shine, build my writing portfolio, and focus more time on this blog. I'm also interning as a staff blogger for The Word Slayers, an excellent website that helps independent authors edit and proofread their books.

I've been enjoying writing different articles to give indie authors tips and tricks on how to write better characters, market their books, and how to self-publish. Creating these articles has helped inspire me to start researching for my book!

(Which I have all the time in the world to start writing at work!)

The funny thing is that I have been reading and researching more about writing and creativity than I have my whole college career; I guess the closer you are to leaving, the more inspired you are to get your shit together.

I will later talk more about my newest internship that I will be participating in the spring; it will be super fun and exciting for my readers interested in music!

But for now, I do like having a consistent schedule, weekends/holidays off, and wearing/styling my clothes. And the drive to work is far less brutal than driving to the OC every day.

Another perk of my job is working downtown. I'm within walking distance from delicious food and wonderful antique and mom&pop shops.

I will keep you updated with what I am up to at work on my blog and Instagram. On these two platforms, I will be talking about more past times in DownTown Riverside, my work outfits, other blogs I am writing, and what books I am reading.

This post was just a quick update of what's going on in my life and how I will be bringing on more content in the upcoming future. Thank you for caring and being so supportive!

Let me know through my blog's Instagram what you would like me to write more about!
